Over the years, DIPINCA has evolved into a mother-and-daughter brand. The mutual inspiration they share and the way they present a natural version of two women of different ages to their customers have allowed DIPINCA to grow, reaching a broad audience unafraid of judgment.
Its designer, Diana Pintado, after many years of creating her own garments, reaches out to her muse—her mother, Josefina Cadenas—thus expanding the vision of shapes and colors that so strongly define her.
Together, they embark on an adventure to India, a place they are passionate about, immersing themselves in a culture full of possibilities.
The process of developing the brand together is a great source of inspiration, allowing them to showcase, through sheer fabrics, lace, and bold colors, bodies without age or limitations—just the beauty of dressing with art.
They work hand in hand with various artisans across the country, with great attention to teamwork and responsible production, creating unique editions.
Their motto, #notforeverybody, is reflected in asymmetrical cuts, disruptive patterns, and bold colors that stand out. DIPINCA is designed for those who feel confident in themselves, with a strong personality and artistic influence.
A woman of the world, with Castilian roots and a summer soul in Ibiza, Diana has built her life around art. The daughter of an artistic painter and a mother who was an art dealer and fashion lover, her journey has always been defined by creativity and absolute freedom.
Her passion for fashion, inherited from her mother — who joined the brand without hesitation — drives her to make a difference in her daily life, full of color and “painting” the streets.
At the age of 19, she completes her degree in Spanish Dance and travels around the world dancing. She paves her way in television, working for over a decade in productions such as Un Paso Adelante, Noche de Fiesta, Operación Triunfo, Lluvia de Estrellas, and La hora de José Mota, among others.
At the same time, she studies Acting and writes her own play, En el Borde. Additionally, she is part of the cast of Lío Ibiza during the first five years of its launch.
In 2015, she focuses on her clothing brand, starting production in India, while balancing her other great passion: interior design. Her work in this field can be seen on @clandestinohome.
In 2017, she is given the opportunity to become the Artistic Director of Park Chinois, a restaurant-cabaret in London, where she creates various annual shows. Grateful to have London as her home, she considers it a place full of inspiration and truly feels at home there.
Always accompanied by pen and paper, she writes down all her thoughts and creates a large community on Instagram through @dipinca, where she shares her weekly reflections. This project leads her to publish her first book, Flaca de Gratis.
All this mix of creativity has a name: PASSION.
“Spaces that dance, clothes that talk, and characters with shapes.
Everything makes sense if we observe with an open mind.”
Diana Pintado.
